What is Cash-On-Delivery? What is CheckMeOut?
Cash-On-Delivery is a payment method wherein you only pay for an item once it has been delivered at your doorstep.
CheckMeOut, powered by LBC, is a payment gateway that offers secure delivery service for Cash-On-Delivery transactions, as well as bank deposit (via Dragonpay) and LBC payments.
How do I know if an item is eligible for Cash-On-Delivery?
Items eligible for Cash-On-Delivery via CheckMeOut will have the CheckMeOut banner in the description box.
Clicking the CheckMeOut banner will then take you to the CheckMeOut payment page.
How much are the shipping fees?
The shipping fee will be computed by the CheckMeOut payment gateway once you've filled your details up. It will depend on the size of the item you wish to purchase, as well as your location.
So far, CheckMeOut has two package sizes only. REGULAR-sized items should fit the 18” x 12” plastic packaging. OVERSIZED items should fit the 18” x 12” x 9” box.
The item I want does not have the CheckMeOut banner. What should I do?
Items may be requested to be purchased via CheckMeOut by sending an email via email@example.com, but approval is on a case-to-case basis.
The item I want is bigger than the two package sizes. What should I expect?
Items bigger than these two dimensions may be requested to be purchased by sending an email via firstname.lastname@example.org, but approval is on a case-to-case basis and such items may be more expensive than usual to cover shipping costs.
Can I also use the other two payment methods?
Yes, but we would like to remind our customers that our reason of offering CheckMeOut is for customers to easily avail the Cash-On-Delivery payment method.
CheckMeOut is a separate payment gateway and cash or online banking purchases made through CheckMeOut may cause for your package to be delivered slower, compared to paying for your purchase through the webstore.
Customers can pay for their purchases via cash or online banking through a regular webstore transaction by clicking the 'Add to Cart' button.
I placed an order. What's next?
CheckMeOut will send an order confirmation via text/email, and will require the buyer to confirm his/her order. Once it has been confirmed, CheckMeOut will send another order confirmation via text.
Orders will be picked up the day after they were placed. Pick-ups are done everyday, except Sundays and holidays. CheckMeOut will be sending a text that the item is on it's way once it has been picked-up from us.
How do I track my package?
Your order will have a corresponding reference number, and this reference number can be seen in the texts/emails that CheckMeOut has sent you. This reference number is also your tracking number.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery to Metro Manila addresses will take 3-5 business days. Delivery to provinical addresses will take 5-7 business days. Deliveries are done everyday, except Sundays and holidays.
Are orders made via CheckMeOut affected by the holiday?
Yes, they are. Orders during these upcoming holidays will be picked up from our warehouse on the following business day.
What if I'm not at home when my package arrives?
There's no problem if you are not home when CheckMeOut delivers your package. You just have to ensure that a representative at your delivery address can pay for your package on your behalf. Packages cannot be released if there is no payment.
