You can now earn points from shopping at any Game One, iTech and Digital Village branch nationwide!
The ONE UP! Card Rewards Program is open to anyone currently residing in the Philippines. A card with a unique 9-number code will be issued to you on the spot -- no need to wait! Just present the following requirements:
• Completed ONE UP! card Application Form,
• One (1) valid ID with picture (Company/School ID, SSS ID, Driver's License, Passport, etc.),
• A membership fee of P95 or,
• A single-purchase or accumulated receipt/s worth P15,000 (within 3 months of application date).
EARNING & REDEEMING POINTS:
Every P200 you spend earns you one (1) point. One (1) point is equivalent to P1.
Example: A game worth P1800 will earn you 9 points. Those 9 points you earned will reward you P9.
Just present your ONE UP! card to the cashier upon purchase. Cash and card payments for both regular and sale item purchases will reward you points. There is absolutely no minimum purchase amount required. Rewards, however, can only be redeemed by the applicant with his/her ONE UP! card. A valid ID with picture will be required upon redemption. The minimum redeemable reward is P50.
EARN 2X POINTS ON YOUR BIRTHDAY:
Earn 2x points on your purchase on your birthday month. This is limited to 1 transaction only.
Need to present valid ID with Birthday for verification. When claiming the Valid ID presented and the One Up Card should have the same name.
Your ONE UP! card is valid for TWO YEARS. Points can still be used within 3 months after expiry but will be forfeited after. Renewal will follow the same process as a new application.
GAME ONE WEBSTORE USAGE:
ONE UP! cardholders can also earn rewards from purchases made through the Game One webstore (http://gameone.ph). You can also apply for a ONE UP! card online but this feature is CURRENTLY EXCLUSIVE for customers purchasing online only (should there be no available branch near them). There are three ways to process your online application:
- The customer must purchase a ONE UP! Card first, and then filling up the ONE UP! Card Application form, as we will be requiring the order number for us to process the application,
- The customer must include a ONE UP! Card in his/her purchase, and then filling up the ONE UP! Card Application form, as we will be requiring the order number for us to process the application, or
- The customer must present the accumulated orders/receipts worth P15,000 (must be 3 months prior the application date) by filling up the ONE UP! Card Application form.
The card will be shipped once the application is verified and processed. For those with accumulated receipts, you will be sent a discount code so you can add the ONE UP! Card for free to your next purchase.
Once your application has been processed, verified and approved, you should receive and email with your unique 9-digit ONE UP! Card number. This can also be found on your profile, temporarily labeled as the VAT number, when you log in to http://gameone.ph.
For those who applied at our physical stores and just want to use their ONE UP! Card at the webstore, kindly email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your ONE UP! Card number and complete name so we can update your account. so you start earning points online.
Please be reminded that as of now, our in-store and online rewards systems are separate, so your points are separate as well. This means that the points you earn from purchases inside our branches will not be reflected on your online store point balance and vice versa but you will still earn points either way.
Example: You just applied for a ONE UP! Card and your starting balance is 0 points. A game purchase worth P2,895 at a physical Game One PH store will earn you 14 points. Your ONE UP! Card balance is now 14 points. A game purchase worth P1,395 at the Game One PH webstore is 6 points. Your ONE UP! Card balance will still be 14 points, but you will also have 6 points that you can save and use exclusively at the webstore.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I have registered for a webstore account and it has the rewards system on it. Does that mean I can now earn points?
A: No. We are aware that the rewards system shows up by default on all webstore accounts once the user has logged in, but this is NOT ACTIVE, and will only be activated once the user has applied for a ONE UP! Rewards Card. This means you need to apply for a ONE UP! Rewards Card to earn points, and you DO NOT earn points from purchases automatically.
Q: I am applying for a ONE UP! Card today. Do I also get my card today?
A: Yes! We do not issue cards with your name but instead, you instantly get a ONE UP! Card with a unique 9-number code printed on it. For this, we’d like to remind our customers to keep your card number safe like your ATM pin. Please avoid posting pictures of your card with the number visible, especially on social media.
Q: What will happen if I accidentally post my unique 9-number code? Will I get penalized?
A: Nope. It’s just a privacy and safety concern to avoid unwanted problems should they arise. Other customers cannot redeem your points with just the ONE UP! Card number, anyways, because s/he will be asked for a valid picture ID that matches with the name in the record. As they say, prevention is better than cure.
Q: I’m a foreigner and I want to apply for the ONE UP! Card. Am I allowed to apply?
A: Yes! You may apply for the ONE UP! Card as long as you have a Philippine address and you currently live in the Philippines. Of course, you also need to have the complete application requirements.
Q: I don’t have receipts from 2016, but I have many receipts from 2015. Can I submit those instead?
A: Nope. Game One PH and iTech Philippines will only be accepting receipts that are three (3) months old. For example, if you are applying on July 15, 2016, we can accept receipts that are dated anytime between April 15 to July 15, 2016, and so on.
Q: I have a receipt totaling to P165,000. Does that mean I can get eleven (11) ONE UP! Card applications done for me and my barkada?
A: Nope. One receipt totaling to P15,000 and above can only be used for one (1) ONE UP! Card application. The same goes for accumulated receipts that go over P15,000.
Q: If I buy items worth P15,000 today, can I use the receipt to get a free ONE UP! Card? Will I also get P15,000 worth of points?
A: Yes, you can use the receipt to get a free ONE UP! Card. No, you cannot get the points from that purchase.
Q: I’ve completed the application! Can I use my card immediately?
A: Technically, yes! The ONE UP! Card will have to be activated, and it will take 1-2 weeks. However, your purchases after getting the ONE UP! card will be recorded by our staff and will take effect as soon as the card is activated. For this, we would like to remind our customers to present their card with every purchase, and keep their receipts for future reference.
Q: I don’t live near any of your branches. Is there any way I can apply?
A: Yes, there is, but this is CURRENTLY EXCLUSIVE for customers purchasing online only. This is explained in detail at the GAME ONE WEBSTORE USAGE Section above. Your application will undergo the same process, except that we only accept online receipts
Q: It’s been a week since I applied for the ONE UP! Card. Can I check if my card has been activated?
A: Yes. You can go to the Game One PH or iTech Philippines branch where you applied for the ONE UP! Card and ask if your card has been already been activated. Alternatively, you can just call your preferred branch, too. You will be asked for your name and card number, so please have those ready.
Q: Will I be able to check my points? How do I do so?
A: Of course! Your points will be printed on your receipt every time you present your ONE UP! Card with your purchase. You will be able to see your name, unique card number, card expiry date and total point balance. You will also see the deduction from your total point balance when you choose to use your points. If you just want to check your points, you may also do so by dropping by at any Game One PH or iTech Philippines branch and have our staff assist you.
Q: The item I’m buying is on sale/reduced/promo price. Will I still get points from my purchase?
A: Yes! All items are eligible for earning points as long as they are P200 or above. Please do not forget to present your ONE UP! Card to our staff before your transaction ends.
Q: I’m using my credit card to pay for my items. Will I still get points from my purchase?
A: Yes! All payment options are eligible for earning points as long as your purchase total is P200 and above. Please do not forget to present your ONE UP! Card to our staff before your transaction ends.
Q: I want to shop at your webstore, http://gameone.ph. Will I earn points, too?
A: Yes! You can use your ONE UP! Card at our webstore, too. This is explained in detail at the GAME ONE WEBSTORE USAGE Section above.
Q: I purchased a game today, but left my ONE UP! Card at home. Can I come back tomorrow to get my points from my purchase today?
A: Nope. We are strictly implementing that points can only be earned when the card or one up card number is presented.
Q: The staff has already given me my receipt and only after did I remember that I have the ONE UP! Card in my wallet. Can I still get the points from my purchase?
A: Nope. We are also strictly implementing that points can only be earned when the card or one up card number is presented before your transaction ends.
Q: I want to use my points but I forgot my ONE UP! Card and ID at home. I have memorized my card number, though. Can I redeem my points?
A: Yes, you can still earn points, just present a valid ID for verification.
Q: My wallet got stolen, along with my ONE UP! Card and IDs. What do I do?
A: In case of loss, you will need to go to any Game On PH or iTech Philippines branch and present a letter of loss indicating your previous ONE UP! Card number, as well as a valid ID with your picture on it. You will also have to pay P95.00 for the card replacement, and it will bear a new unique 9-number code. The old card will be invalidated, and your previous points will be transferred to your new ONE UP! Card.
Q: My ONE UP! Card got damaged. Can I request for a replacement?
A: In case of damages, you will need to go to any Game On PH or iTech Philippines branch and request for card replacement, indicating your previous ONE UP! Card number. You will also have to pay P95.00 for the card replacement, and it will bear a new unique 9-number code. The old card will be invalidated, and your previous points will be transferred to your new ONE UP! Card.
Q: My ONE UP! Card is expiring soon. Can I request for renewal of my application even if it hasn’t expired yet?
A: Yes! You can go to any of the Game One PH or iTech Philippines branches to renew your application. You will retain the One Up Card Number. You also cannot use receipts to claim for free membership.
