Equipped with a 10mm titanium-coated dynamic driver, this model combines deep, accurate bass reproduction with a natural, expansive sound field, despite being a single driver. It is positioned as Kiwi Ears' next-generation single dynamic driver model, combining sound quality, comfort, and reliability.
KARS 2.0 delivers precise low-frequency reproduction
Cadenza II features KARS 2.0 (Kiwi Acoustic Resonance System 2.0), an evolution of Kiwi Ears' unique acoustic design philosophy. The internal maze-like acoustic tube structure precisely controls driver back pressure and airflow. This provides a clear 8dB boost in the sub-bass range while achieving a steep decay around 200Hz. Unlike
bass that simply emphasizes volume, the system precisely controls the attack, saturation, and damping of reverberation, achieving subwoofer-like power and musical accuracy. This delivers a rich, deep, and clear bass reproduction previously difficult to achieve with a single dynamic driver configuration.
High resolution and high speed response
The newly developed 10mm titanium-coated dynamic driver features a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) base material with a titanium coating on the surface, achieving both high rigidity and moderate flexibility.
This structure allows the diaphragm to respond quickly and converge, delivering a clearly defined kick in the low range and high resolution that reproduces even the most minute details in the high range. Distortion at 1kHz is kept to less than 1%, ensuring stable playback performance even in music with complex overlapping sound images and in production and monitoring applications that require precision.
Tonal balance that combines naturalness and immersion
Cadenza II's tuning is not simply neutral, but emphasizes a natural tonal balance for a comfortable musical enjoyment. The midrange is given a gentle swell, adding warmth and realism to vocals and acoustic instruments. At the same time, the energy balance across the entire frequency range is strictly controlled to maintain the connection with the low and high frequencies. The
high range extends smoothly from around 3 kHz, without excessive peaks, and has a natural decay characteristic, reducing fatigue even during extended listening sessions. The result is a sound that combines analytical precision with musical immersion.
Durable and high-quality housing design
The housing is made of a lightweight yet highly impact-resistant polycarbonate composite shell. The faceplate is made of CNC-machined aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and features a laser-engraved honeycomb design, achieving both functionality and design. The surface has a
velvet-like matte texture, which is designed for a tactile feel and a luxurious feel when worn. It combines robustness for everyday use and portability with the appearance quality worthy of a high-end model.
Detachable Cable
Cadenza II uses a 0.78mm 2-pin detachable cable. The included cable uses single-crystal oxygen-free copper conductors to achieve clear, stable transmission performance while minimizing signal loss.
