Marvel's Avengers Next Gen Versions releases March 2021 alongside new Free DLC
Marvel's Avengers official Social Media Accounts announced the release date for the FREE Next-Gen upgrade and Chapter 2 for Season 1 DLC Hawkeye Operation: Future Imperfect releasing on March 18, 2021.
The new version for the PS5 and Xbox One Series S|X alongside the new DLC are set to launch on March 18, 2021, Featuring upgraded visuals and framerate, significantly faster load times, improved destruction, and Heroic detail, Marvel's Avengers on Next-Gen consoles is a redefined adventure. PS5 and Xbox One Series S|X users will be able to play both season 1's story DLC, Operation: Taking Aim which introduces the first free playable character Kate Bishop and Operation: Future Imperfect, which introduces Hawkeye
Operation: Future Imperfect Story DLC is inspired by the comic series, Old Man Hawkeye, the story is set in the future where the supervillains organized to take out every Hero, and he [Hawkeye] is the only one remaining. In this version, Hawkeye retired and was the only hero MIA during the Kree Invasion, he set out in the wastelands to track Nick Fury in hopes to make everything right. The DLC gathers its inspirations on various story arcs so expect other characters like Maestro to appear.
