Xbox kickoff Gamescom 2021 early, but it officially started with last nights Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley. We had a hefty list of game trailers presented-a total of 40-in just one night! It lasted two hours. But let’s start with the biggest titles like Horizon Forbidden West, Halo Infinite, and Death Stranding.

With the release of Death Stranding Director's Cut nearing, we get a more in-depth presentation on the new stuff in it. The preview shows new gameplay features and tools that will make deliveries a little bit easier. One of these is the Buddy Bot which Sam Porter Bridges can use to carry more cargo or ride it and let the bot do all the heavy lifting.

It was striking how Halo Infinite was missing in Xbox’s Gamescom Stream. And people have been wondering if Microsoft had no plans for one of their flagship titles. It turns out, people did not have to wonder long. Microsoft was reserving it for the ONL.

It has been a while since we received updates on the developments of Horizon Forbidden West. Guerrilla Games presentation was short but it has everything we need to know for now. Horizon Forbidden West is delayed. But in the meantime, we can now play Horizon Zero Dawn at 60FPS on PS5 consoles.

We can also see that there’s some kind of Uncharted parkour magic what with the bricks visibly sticking out from the sides of the building. XCOM’s creators are developing a new game. It still involves aliens but now the main characters have superpowers! The trailer looks epic but the game is tagged as a tactical RPG so…for the non-fans of that genre, you might get disappointed. Let’s hope for a sneak-peak of gameplay soon.
Spring 2022
Probably the most adorable among the trailers. The new title for this Lego game features the Skywalker Saga which covers the 9 main films of Star Wars.
