aaaannndd Just like that, we're on the third month of 2021 already and PlayStation keeps hitting us with these great games free for PS Plus subscribers. This month is no different! Alas! The rumors were proven true! Hot off the heels of STATE OF PLAY, get ready for an exciting month! Here are your free games for PS PLUS ASIA for March 2021.
First up! Final Fantasy VII Remake, perhaps the best offering this month! Explore the amazing world of Midgard, whether you're a newcomer to the series or a long-time fan, this game is a must-play if you're a fan of RPGs and JRPGs. The remake carries (a part of the) heart and soul of the original and remade fan-favorite moments with reimagined HD Graphics, an exciting battle system, cinematic flair, and an amazing soundtrack! Easily one of the best games of 2020!
quick note: The PS PLUS version of the game is not upgradable to the PS5 version.
Next up, the PSVR title, Far Point! One of the best VR games to date. Farpoint is a riveting VR space adventure set on a hostile alien planet. On a mission to pick up scientists studying an anomaly near Jupiter, a sudden rupture nearby sends you and their station crashing onto an unknown alien world. Take in mind, being a VR title, this does require a PSVR headset, PS Camera, and a PSVR Aim Controller.
Another one on the list, is Knack II , a very underrated game from the guys at PlayStation Japan Studio. Meet Knack, a little guy with surprising moves and the ability to transform from big to small and back again in this family-friendly adventure from the developers at PlayStation®. With Over 20 awesome moves including boomerang, whip rush, sword, multi-bomb, and body slam, Grow to the size of a building or shrink down to just two-feet tall or Jump in a tank or robot and control it – or just destroy them!
and Finally, free only to PS5 PS Plus Subscribers, an interesting and unique first-person puzzler game, Maquette!
Maquette is a first-person recursive puzzle game that takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge. Maquette makes it possible by twisting the world into itself recursively in an MC Escher-esque fashion. Head to the center of the world and you’ll feel like a giant, towering over buildings and walls. But venture further out, and start to feel small as things get larger and larger – to the point where cracks in the ground become chasms. In Maquette, you will explore the scales of everyday problems in a modern-day love story. Where sometimes the smallest of issues can become insurmountable obstacles.
That's it! these games are available from March 2, 2021, to April 5, 2021 so be sure to add them to your library! Also, don't forget to claim your February 2021 PS Plus Games before March 1, 2021 so you can play them whenever you feel like it as long you have an active PS Plus subscription.
