Inside the The Horizon Forbidden West Regalla Edition

Inside the The Horizon Forbidden West Regalla Edition

Finally! Horizon Forbidden West is here! We were so hyped for it and it’s definitely worth it. We had the opportunity of unboxing the grandest edition of the game which is the Regalla edition.

Before we proceed, know that there are other editions of the game and we enumerated them all in our previous blog. If you’re interested in bagging one, browse here!

Alright. Let’s begin, shall we?

The Horizon Forbidden West Regalla edition comes in a black regal box. In front is a snapshot of the formidable Tremortusk and its vibrant color stands out from the rest of the background.

At the back, the imposing figures from different factions clad in their signature outfits loom at the upper part of the box. Below them is the list of inclusions - a preview, if you will - of what you’ll see once you finally get inside.

When you open it, you’ll be greeted with another box. It features one of the official art of the Horizon Forbidden West. The rosy tint of this art contrasts greatly with the outer box.

Lifting this beautiful cover reveals the display case, statue, and drawer that holds the set of smaller memorabilia.

The Tremortusk statue is simply put, astonishing! This massive statue stands at about 36.5 centimeters. The Aloy figurine is so teeny tiny compared to it. Just knowing that you will have to face this huge creature in-game sends shivers down the spine!

Outfitted like a war elephant, the Tremortusk is adorned with Regalla markings all over - a combination of reds and greens. On top of the machine are a hut and three masked tribe members each carrying a weapon. Honestly, it is filled with fine details that you can probably (who are we kidding? You most definitely will) gaze upon it for hours!

Another delightful addition to this already jaw-dropping figure is the light at the base of the tusk. You can cycle the light through three colors: blue, orange and red.

Pulling out the drawer bares the steelbook and artbook

The steelbook is designed with the same art as one of the boxes. But this one is a bit different. Against the backdrop, Aloy’s focus is the main focus (pun intended) with its shifting shine when the case is tilted under lighting. Inside of the case is another official art.

The artbook is filled with environmental graphics, illustration concepts, and more. We cannot show all of it to you but we provided a sample below. If you weren’t able to pre-order and would want to have this, grab yourself a Horizon Forbidden West Special Edition.

Raising the holder shows another compartment for the goodies! We have 2 thick black postcards. One is Aloy and another is a feather that seems to have one of Aloy’s weapons in the middle.Another item in here is the canvas map which shows part of the Forbidden West with markers of each settlement. There are also replicas of Sunwing and Clawstrider Machine Strike Pieces. Strike, by the way, is a miniature board game in the Horizon Forbidden West. And last but definitely not the least is the replica of Focus with a holder. This Focus lights up when you squeeze it! We demonstrated this in our unboxing video.

There you have it! That is everything included in the Regalla edition. We hope you enjoyed looking at these mesmerizing pieces just as much as we do.
